Chineasy Cards allows users to take a journey through 200+ levels in the pursuit of learning and understanding over 1,000 Chinese characters. Users of Chineasy Cards are reminded and encouraged to come back often to learn, review and be quizzed on Chineasy’s growing number of characters.

Perfectly crafted cards.

Chineasy teamed up with Noma Bar to create a groundbreaking visual approach to teaching basic building blocks. Each character is designed to reflect its etymology and meaning. Chineasy Cards leverages this approach and introduces users to the pinyin, pronunciation and cultural insight of each character. Each card gives users multiple layers of understanding within a delightful experience.

We worked with the Chineasy team to identify the precise point at which users need the extra push to continue learning. At those tipping points we nudge them and encourage them to continue learning. Chineasy Cards also asks users to subscribe after they’ve had some time with the app, this buy-in further promotes engagement through learning.

Recognition Recognition

Launch strategy.

After months of hard work there is nothing greater than getting it in users' hands. Overcommitted worked with Chineasy to establish a launch plan around the 2018 Chinese New Year. Chineasy Cards was recognized as one of the featured apps in the Today section of the App Store within 48 hours of being released.
